Well would you look at that backdrop! One wonders if they’d conceived of hyperspace more than four centuries earlier than us.

Which leads us to the question - are they on a primitive space vessel? Maybe they’re suffering from melancholia because something went wrong and they’re now permanently afloat in the great chasm of hyperspace that is at once a point and infinity.

They must miss home very much.
